An the Winner is……

Congratulations go to Christine of Belleville, ON with her wonderful “Shaker Card” Card147.jpgentry in our Christmas Card contest.

I love this card…. shades of snowglobes…. it’s like looking outside and watching it snow. A scan does not do this card justice when you can move it a little and the driveway gets filled in again. With another tilt of the card and it looks like it’s “whiteout” conditions…..

Christine has used an old time favourite stamp of ours that was released in Sept/04 (yes we keep our stamps in production and this one is still available) She stamped with stamp J303 Winter House on a oval window card, coloured it in to suit her taste and sealed it with a generous supply pf small beads.  Then embellished the cover with larger sparkles and added a couple to die cut evergreen tree to give it a wonderful wonderland appeal.  Well done Christine and the winner of our Christmas Card Contest.

Send us your card creation for our monthly card contests. The winner gets a $20.00 store/show/online credit. Not every fancy card wins, not every dazzling card wins…. the Card that wins is the one that feels right for the occasion. Please note that your Card…. must incorporate one or more of Frog’s Whiskers Ink or Rosewood stamps or products in the design of the card.

In our next Card Challenge ….. for Feb……, lets take a look at “SNOW” Okay we don’t have to go far to find it. In your Card, it doesn’t matter if it is a “Ride down the Hill” or a “Snowball free for All”, it must express the essence of the Card Contest theme

Looking Forward to seeing Your Cards
